What's this all about?

$500 000 to be donated (R7 000 000) - and YOU can even get a part of it!

I have persuaded the directors of the non-profit education organisation, Synergy Schooling, that if I can summit Island Peak in May 2017 (it's a mountain peak just next to Mount Everest), they will donate $500 000 worth of online workshops to parents, schools and teachers around the world.

Island peak ridge In fact, I have even persuaded them to translate the one course into Nepali so as I trek through the Khumbu valley (Nepal) we can give the remote schools there free access as well.

Nepali translation

Island peak is 6189 metres above sea level. My house is at sea level. So for every one meter I go up, that's one online course donated.

And the main course to be donated is the one that is already used internationally and is accredited by our South African Council of Educators.

And if you are reading this, then that means you and your school have been selected to be a part of it!
